Sot u gdhi një ditë e ftohtë dhe me acar,
Një zog i vetmuar shikon me kokë varë,
Çukit nëpër borë, diçka kerkon të gjejë,
Po sqepin bosh, me se mund ta gënjejë?
Gjithçka përreth ambjentit sot ka ngrirë
Për zogun nuk ka mbetë asnjë thërrmijë,
Vështron, kërkon përreth, ngjan i hutuar,
Po streha e çatisë me borë është mbuluar!
Murlani me zhurmen e sirenes vërshëllen,
Ai kërkon mëshirë, në pemë gjë nuk gjen,
Tymi i oxhaqeve lart në qiell eshte ngritur
Tregon se zogu i mjere do ngelet i uritur!

Hungry bird
Today was one day with freezing cold,
A lonely bird looks hang upside,
Pecks around in snow, something wants to find,
Yes beak remain empty, how he should lies himself?
Everything around the environment today has frozen,
For bird there remained no particle.
Looks, requires around, seems confused,
Lots of refuge snow has covered the roof!
Windstorm with the sounds as horns fizzle out,
He beseeches, in the trees will not find anything,
The smoke of chimney goes up in the sky
Shows that: wretched bird will remains hungry!
